I am happy to announce version 3.1 of MD Gacha Machine!

Since the release of version 3.0 I collected your feedback and suggestions and I understood that many of you were not really happy about the new transaction storing process, often ending up in too many refunds. In order to provide a complete transaction log through the website, I thought it was a good idea to wait until the current transaction was correctly stored on the MD Labs server before allowing another pull; in normal conditions this process would take less than one or two seconds and if another pull was made during this period, the user was refunded and no prize was given. Unfortunately I clearly underestimated the effect of SL lag in crowded sims, typically hosting events; in those cases several pulls ended up in refunds, as the lag caused a big delay in communications increasing drastically those one or two seconds required.

My apologies for the confusion and stress I may have caused to you and to your customers, it was an attempt to provide you a complete and correct transactions log.

Version 3.1 of MD Gacha Machine removes those refunds in favor of a different approach to the problem, that hopefully will be able to keep storing all the transactions even in scenarios where the lag is really high. NO MORE REFUNDS.

Another thing that was changed in version 3.0 is the rares win chance percentages, applied by default to all the newly rezzed machines and set to 0%. Again, after your feedback i decided to revert back to the old approach and version 3.1 of MD Gacha Machine applies a default rares win chance percentage preset to all newly rezzed machines. The default rares chances are:

• 30% for uncommon items;
• 10% for rare items;
• 3% for ultra-rare items;

PLEASE NOTE: these percentage will not be applied if no item of the corresponding rare category is present inside the machine.

Of course these are just default values that can be changed anytime from the owner menu > rares sub menu.

Again, my apologies if those changes of percentages introduced in version 3.0 caused you any confusion or stress.

The update will affect the following products:

• MD Gacha Machine (MESH)
• MD Gacha Machine (MESH #2)
• MD Gacha Machine Script for Events

The roll out of the update will be incremental starting from MD Gacha Machine Script, and expanding to other versions in the next days.

As always the new version is available for free to all whom purchased it already, you can get it via update from one of your machines (owner menu>update) or through the redelivery terminal at MD Labs in-world store.
