Hello everyone! MD Trinket Machine 2.0 is out now!

About one month ago I have been asked to update my MD Trinket Machine to make it 100% compliant to the new guidelines provided by Linden Lab and the result is MD Trinket Machine 2.0: this new version includes all the changes requested plus a few more tweaks suggested by you during the last months.

MD Trinket Machine 2.0 works pretty much like the previous version but in addition to the current item set for sale, the machine now displays also the next two upcoming items.

Below here, the machine’s workflow:

1. a random item among the ones present inside the machine is extracted according to the rares category percentages (if provided);
2. two more items are randomly extracted according to the rares category percentages and kept as ‘upcoming’ items;
3. depending on the version of MD Trinket Machine used, the details of the current and upcoming items extracted (key number / ID) are shown either as hover text or in the designed text area;
4. the machine will start a countdown accordingly to the shuffle time chosen by the owner (default is 1 hour); the countdown status is shown in real time either as hover text or in the designed text area;
5. at this point:
   1. if a user pays the machine before the countdown is over the current item is delivered to the payer avatar, the first upcoming item will be set as current item and a new item will be extracted randomly and kept as upcoming. At this point the machine will restart its workflow from point 3;
   2. if no one pays the machine before the countdown is over then the machine will discard the current item, the first upcoming item will be set as current item and a new item will be extracted randomly and kept as upcoming. At this point the machine will restart its workflow from point 3;

With these new additions MD Trinket Machine is 100% compliant with the new Linden Lab guidelines.

Like for the previous release also this new one comes in three different versions, all of them included in the package:

• MD Trinket Machine: the complete mesh version of MD Trinket Machine (3 LI); this device comes loaded with all the necessary scripts and the user will just have to rez it on the ground and proceed with the setup.
• MD Trinket Machine (Board): a minimal machine (3 LI) which comes loaded with all the necessary scripts and the user will just have to rez it on the ground and proceed with the setup.
• MD Trinket Machine Script: the script-only version of MD Trinket Machine; once dropped it will transform the object into in a trinket machine.

As always the new version is available for free to all whom purchased it already, you can get it via update from one of your machines (owner menu>update) or through the redelivery terminal at MD Labs in-world store.
